- The plans have 24 workouts broken into six weeks, but you can adapt them however you need.
- Equipment isn't required but it's listed for each workout if you want to use your gear.
- The entire plan is printer-friendly, and each workout is a single page.

Swim Farther
Want to swim 500 yards without stopping? A half mile? A full mile or more? These plans build your endurance week by week with progressive interval sets, so the distance that feels impossible today feels routine by week six. If you're chasing a time, these plans mix speed work, technique-focused sets, and recovery swims to help you drop seconds in all events offered at USMS-sanctioned yard pool meets. They're built for swimmers who want a measurable result, whether that's a personal best at a sanctioned meet or simply beating last month's self. We also offer another section dedicated to achieving specific times in the 100-yard freestyle.
